SNIM Begins Exporting Iron Ore to the Egyptian Market

The National Mining and Industry Company (SNIM) has begun exporting iron ore through the Nouadhibou Port to the Arab Republic of Egypt, aiming to open new opportunities for the company.
According to sources in Tiris Zemmour, as reported by Sahara Media, the first shipment of iron ore departed from Nouadhibou Port at the end of last month, heading towards the Egyptian port of Ain Sokhna.
The sources confirmed that the export of Mauritanian iron ore to Egypt is part of the company’s new strategy, allowing it to enter new markets in North Africa, Eastern Europe, and Australia.
